We are here to help you eliminate any confusion about which HID color you should choose for your HID Headlight Conversion. Typically people that buy HID Kits are looking for a product that offers safety and increases the look of their car. We recommend HID Bulbs that are between 4300k – 8000k.
The color of the HID Bulb is determined by the temperature output of the bulb. So the lower the number the more white and bright the bulb will be. As the temperature of the bulb increases the light slides from a bright white light (crystal white) to a blue or purple.
We currently offer the 4300K Crystal White, 6000K Diamond Blue, 8000K Deep Blue, 10000K Purple/Blue and the 12000K Violet Purple. No matter what your preference is there is a bulb for you!
4300K Crystal White HID Bulb
The 4300K HID Bulb has an output of approximately 3400 lumens. This is much brighter than the standard halogen bulbs on most cars by about 3 times. The light is a bright white with a yellowish hue which is great for all types of driving. These are identical to the OEM bulbs that are found in Mercedes and BMW’s.
This color is most frequently used by customers that are looking for a high performance HID Headlight Bulb while improving the looks of their car instantly. If you are someone that has to do a lot of night driving, or driving through dark roads and mountains than this is the right HID Headlight Conversion for you!
6000K Diamond Blue HID Bulb
The 6000K HID Bulb has an output of approximately 2800 lumens. The 6000K bulb has a white light with a bluish tint color that really makes your car stand out at night. While the 6000K bulb is not quite as bright as the 4300K Bulb it still provides plenty of safety for night driving. In fact, this color bulb is one of our top selling bulbs because of its brightness and great looks. The reason why it is the #1 HID Bulb is because it offers a great mixture of function and form.
8000K Deep Blue HID Bulb
The 8000K HID Bulb has an approximate output of 2400 lumens. This bright blue color bulb will have people turning their heads as you cruise down the street. This is the bulb that you need if you’ve been looking for that exotic look that so many people envy. If you drive with these lights on your car people will be sure to notice you. Most people like the 6000K HID Bulbs or the 8000K HID Bulbs.
10000K Purple/Blue HID Bulbs
The 10000K HID Bulb has an approximate output of 2200 lumens. These bulbs are typically purchased for show purposes. They have a distinct bright blue color that is much deeper than other aftermarket kits. You will have to sacrifice a little bit of brightness (still more than 2 times brighter than a standard halogen bulb) compared to the lower K outputs, but the color is well worth it. If you take your car to local car shows than this is definitely the right product for you.
12000K Exotic Violet Purple HID Bulbs
The 12000K HID Bulb has an approximate output of 2100 lumens. The lumen output of the 12000K bulb is 2 times more than a standard halogen bulb. This is an exotic deep color, deeper than the 10000K HID Bulb. This is by far the most extreme and most exotic light output on the market.
