Did a few things to my Lightning and made a video. 8000k 9007 HID headlights, pulled off the Borla crap back exhaust. Hifonics amp is being ordered later today and also Kicker component speakers. Yes voltage sucked in this video I was bumpin the whole time I was washing the truck,it stays at 14.4-13.8v. Optima yellow top and 160 amp alternator coming soon. Also going to go with a ported box. Sealed sucks.. Down the road adding another 12″ L7 with a fiberglass ported box/center counsel. Exhaust is Ford Motorsports shorty headers into true duals(no Y pipe) with 4 cats and dumped after 2nd set of cats. Cats being cut off soon and dual Dynomax bullets with X pipe are going on with gen 2 Lightning exit.

www.clearlights.org You either already have HID Headlights installed to your vehicle, or have been planning on installing them to help improve the look of your vehicle and to help see better at nighttime. Maybe youve already shopped around and know what kind of HID Headlights you want to install or you could be trying to figure it out. What you do need to know though is HID Headlights can be illegal to have them added to your vehicle. You may have heard stories about people being ticketed for having HID Lights on their vehicle, but how do you know that youre going to be safe from being pulled over by the Police? If you look on the box of HID Headlights, usually they say things such as: DOT Approved. Just to let you know, the DOT has never approved HID Headlights and has no plans of giving them the OK anytime in the future. If you get pulled over by the Police and you tell them that your bulbs are DOT approved, theres a good chance that it wont matter. But how can HID Headlights be illegal when everybody has them nowadays? Car Manufactures gave taken notice and began installing HID Lights to their newer vehicles. These bulbs are OK and nobody has to worry about them. If you have aftermarket HID Headlights installed, then you might have a problem. What can you do to avoid getting into trouble with the law? www.clearlights.org HID Headlights and HID Conversion Kits are a new way to install HID Bulbs to your vehicle to replace the ordinary factory bulbs. Adding an HID Kit to a vehicle can be illegal. Most of the bulbs that are out on the mark claim that theyre DOT Approved, also known as Department of Transport, but this isnt always the case. There are several rules and regulations that are involved in installing HID Head Lights to your vehicle. Just because the bulbs say theyre DOT Approved doesnt always mean that theyre street legal. HID Bulbs give out much more light than your standard Headlight. There are various reasons why the HID Bulbs can be frowned upon by the Police Department. For one, they can blind other drivers, they can even blind you. When you drive with HID Headlights and the light is glaring and bouncing off of other objects, not only are you endangering other drives, but you are endangering yourself too. Avoid buying cheap HID Conversion Kits because there is a good chance that youll be ripped off. Some of the fake HID Lights are actually Halogen Lights that have a blue lens to make it look as if its a true HID Light. The easiest way to figure out if your lights are real or fake is to take a blank white sheet of paper and hold it up to the bulb. If the light is shining white on the paper, its a real HID Headlight. If it shines blue on the paper, its a fake. The fake HID Headlights can get you in a lot of trouble with the law and may even get your vehicle …
